All About Me! - March 29th 2015

Hey bloggers!

As I said in my last post, I am going to give you all a little bit of insight on me and who I am, so my readers and I can connect on a more personal level.

To start off, my name is Malik, (yes, I am a girl). I'm 19 years old, I'm a college sophomore. I'm Texas made and Kentucky raised.

I'm the most boring, yet outgoing, most conservative, yet obnoxious person on the planet. I'm obsessed with Kim Kardashian. A tall Chai Tea Latte in the winter and a tall Java Chip Frappe in the summer gets me through the day. I can eat a pound of bacon in one sitting. No, I'm not obese, I'm barely 120 pounds, lol. I love the color black, matte black to be specific. I have no talents whatsoever. I have a beautiful girlfriend. Yes, I'm gay and a christian. I just started a YouTube channel, and it's going to be the shit. I'm not cocky, I'm confident. I'm passionate and goal-driven.

So where did Malik's Courageous Dreams come from? Well, in short, I'm a small girl with big dreams. I actually feel super uncomfortable telling my goals and dreams to small minded people because of the crazy looks and negative comments I receive. After I obtain my degree, I plan on packing up and moving to Atlanta where I will be continuing my education at a mortuary science school, (go ahead, give your screen a disgusted look), haha, but I want to live in 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with a finished basement and a pool in the backyard, with my wife and 3 kids living the American dream while cruising the city in my matte black Range Rover..... and this is not even half of the things on my goal list...

There's so much I want to do, and I'm determined to do all of the things I have set my mind to. My goal with this blog is to let others know that they are not alone and that you can literally do ANYTHING you put your mind to no matter where you come from or the circumstances you may face. I want my readers to be able to connect with someone so they know, they're not the only ones who feel a certain way about a particular situation or subject. I want my readers to read my blogs and laugh, be inspired and be informed.

First Blog - March 28th 2015

Hey bloggers!

Welcome to my blog, Malik's Courageous Dreams!

This is my very first blog - EVER.

And to be honest.... I didn't even know what a blog was until a few months ago!

During my 2015 journey, I have began writing an inspirational, uplifting book. It is full of personal experiences, quotes, and little daily advice to help people get through their day.

I have also discovered YOUTUBE! I have fallen in love with the YouTube world. I have created my own channel, and when I get some videos uploaded, I will let you all know so you can check them out, comment and subscribe! In short, my YouTube channel will vary in content, from beauty tutorials, DIYs, advice segments, weekly uplifting segments to send some positive vibes your way, and then I will have my funny vids that I will be doing with my best friends. It'll be an awesome channel and I can't wait to get everything going!

 Since this is my first post, I wont be talking about anything in specific. I will try to post something every other day. My blog will also vary in content. I will be posting personal stories, advice blogs, inspirational blogs, funny blogs and everything in between!

I will leave my personal email at the end of all my blogs so my readers can email me new topics to blog about, they can email me their problems and I will respond via blog, so hopefully I can help others as well as just one person!
